updating the design
Your Shopping List for April 11th, 2025!
Oh, hey there! Our newsletter has a new look—props to our designer, Liv, who does everything very, very well. We hope you like it. We’ll be shouting out products we really love from our taste tests, rounding up the most important food news of the week, and, in the near future, giving you access to a video that’s only available to our newsletter subscribers.
In the meantime, are you getting ready for Easter (and/or 4/20)? We have guides to good Easter Candy and allergy friendly Easter candy, too. We also added some dressings (ginger, raspberry vinaigrette) to our roundup of the best salad dressings we’ve ever tried.
Lettuce entertain you! Get it?
—Gwynedd Stuart, Managing Editor
What's on the Menu?
"Why the hell did soy milk go out of style? It's mild, creamy, and tastes much better in coffee than almond milk, IMO. If you're a soy boy like me, you have to try Silk Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk. I really think you could mistake it for whole dairy milk." - Gwynedd |
"We couldn't pick just one favorite, so Cherry Garcia and Peanut Butter Half Baked share the title of Best Ben & Jerry's flavor. One is simple, one is indulgent. One is fruity, one isn't—pick your poison. You can't go wrong." - Gwynedd |
Watch Jordan, Gwynedd, and Trevor taste Easter candy! |
"If string cheese is the only snacking cheese in your fridge, you're missing out on the best individually wrapped cheese sticks: Kerrygold Aged Cheddar Cheese Snacks. The flavor is nuanced and rich and layered, and they come in a big ol' bag at Costco." - Justine Sterling, Editor-In-Chief |
"International Delight does a lot. All the time. I should know—I tried 12 of their flavored creamers and found the best. Must love caramel!" —Ariana Losch, Staff Writer |
Get decked out like a professional taste tester and show your local grocery store you mean business with our collection of hats and grocery totes! |
"Sure, the best grated parm probably comes from a fancy block of cheese that was aged in a cave in Italy, but in this taste test we looked for (and found) the best shelf-stable grated parm. You know the powdery kind that hangs out on the tables at your local pizza place." —Jessica Block, Taste Tester |
